Exactly what my granddaughter wanted to help her find her way at nightMy 4 year old had suddenly decided he was afraid of the dark, so we ordered this night light so he could hang it from his bed-tent…and he was enchanted by the kitty-cat ears and the fact he can carry it around by the handle and it’s also easy enough for him to turn on himself. A few moments in to trying it out, he hugged it and declared “Now I don’t have to be afraid of the dark anymore!”Love that it’s a soft light. The kids love it too. And no batteries. I can charge it.Perfect for vacation FL and my 5 year on the third floor and walking around at night!I purchased this for my son and he loves it. It's easy to use, durable, and gets pretty bright. I love that it's rechargeable and has a handle.The construction feels flimsy, but, otherwise this suits our needs and I'm happy with it. Most important for me was that it be a warm light, and it is. I quite like the little rope handle - big enough to slip over my wrist for a hands-free lantern. The USB cable it comes with is absurdly short, and the port is funny so it wouldn't charge with every longer cord I tried, but I found one that works. The light is not bright, but I wanted it for a nightlight so that is fine. Could probably read by it if it was right by your book. I like that the light is dimmable, too. Battery life seems good - I used it for maybe 6 or 8 hours at a time so far without a recharge. I kinda don't expect it to hold up for that long, but if I get a year out of it I'll be happy. I hope this company improves the construction quality because they have a nice product otherwise.Bought for my kids to use as a portable night light. It’s does change brightness, you just have to press and hold on the power button to turn it up and then back down. Tap to turn it on or off.The lantern I received does not have the "ears" as shown in the picture. It's also a lot smaller than I thought. I'm also disappointed at how bright this gets. You can Long press the button to make it brighter, but not as bright as expected.
